How to be Positive About a Second Lockdown - and Link Up

        

The UK scientific advisors Vallance and Whitty (which sounds like a 1950s department store) are warning that more draconian pandemic measures could be on their way, including a second national lockdown.  Half of the UK is already in various forms of lockdown.

It's the last Monday of the month and time for September's Style Not Age Challenge, set by Jacqui with the theme All Dressed Up and Nowhere To Go.  My days of dressing up, even with somewhere to go, are behind me so I  played with the theme as "All dressed up and no office to go to."

Rejuvenation in the Lake District - and Link Up

I'm back after my two week staycation and fully rejuvenated. In the first week I spent a few days in Plymouth with my mum - there'll be more in my Sentence a Day post to be published on 6 October. For the second week, we drove the long distance to the Lake District, in the north of England.
