Bring your face alive with Look Fabulous Forever

Look Fabulous Forever's Lustrous Colour Lipstick in Cherry Red, as reviewed by over-45s beauty and fashion blog Is This Mutton? dot com
Have you heard of Look Fabulous Forever?  This is a brand of makeup created by a woman who wanted cosmetics that worked better on mature skin. Tricia Cusden created not just a makeup brand, but a whole movement that challenges perceptions and celebrates the beauty of ageing.

If I'm in need of a quick pick-me-up, a new lipstick is always a great idea. Sometimes, if I'm out and about, I might catch myself in a window or mirror looking pale and tired, and that's when I immediately think I need to put some lipstick on.

So I was thrilled to try a couple of Lustrous Colour Lipsticks from Look Fabulous Forever, along with their Never Feather Lip Prime. I never use an eyeshadow or lipstick without the appropriate primer: they really do make a difference.

Look Fabulous Forever sell their products globally from a website, and it's easy to choose the right colours because they guide you on how to choose warm or cool coloured shades.

I tried Fuchsia, because I always like a vivid pink, and Cherry Red. These are both for cool toned complexions. Below; the cherry red. The primer is applied around the edge of the lips to prevent lipstick from feathering.

The lipsticks are formulated with jojoba oil: it hydrates and nourishes, so our lips appear luscious and full. And below, the Fuchsia.

Is This Mutton? the blog for fashionable over 45s, tries out lipsticks and a primer from a brand specifically designed for the mature woman, Look Fabulous Forever.

The lipsticks lasted well and there was no feathering, so these are definitely a good buy. What's great about the Look Fabulous Forever site is that they have plenty of videos with tutorials, and answers to dilemmas. There are inspiring transformations and some very interesting ambassadors for the brand.

I was gifted with three items from the Look Fabulous Forever range. As always, I have provided an objective review based on my own experience.
