November Bookshelf Update

Is This Mutton shares new book arrivals and what she's just finished reading in an early November update

Dear friends. A quick update on my latest book arrivals, plus what I'll be reviewing later this month.

I'm excited to share these new arrivals because it's been a bit of a fallow reading period. NetGalley hasn't been tempting me and I've had to resort to Mr Mutton's books in our shared Amazon library.

I'll share a brief snippet of blurb and when the books will be published. The first 3 all come out in 2027.

Then we'll take a quick look at the books I have read recently, which will be reviewed later this month.

One Trick Pony by Frankie Zwick

This one's a bit different for me, it's a modern-day Western by a modern-day cowgirl, and described as playful, sexy and exhilarating. It comes out on 4 March.

Echo Chamber by Matt Brolly

I'm always attracted by a new to me crime thriller series, particularly with a story set in Cornwall. In this the unusual murder weapon is sound, relentless and targeted. Published in January.

Hold on Tight by Amanda Prowse

A love story with a difference, proof that broken things can be made beautiful, that forgiveness is possible, and that love can survive the unthinkable. Amanda Prowse is always very readable and thought provoking. Comes out in January.

Raising Hare by Chloe Dalton: Non-Fiction

I've heard so much about this prize winning book, the story of how a busy professional woman found herself the custodian of a new born hare.

Have you discovered my monthly book reviews? These are 5 of the books lined up for my next round-up for the third Friday in November (19th). There will be a couple of other books too.

What Readers Say About Is This Mutton Book Reviews

"What an intriguing mix of books - I'm impressed with your range."

"I always appreciate a good review from someone who has actually read the books and not just the blurb."

"I always enjoy your wrap-ups because there’s such a great mix of fiction and nonfiction."

"It is lovely how you include your personal reactions to details, it makes the reading experience feel shared rather than just reviewed."
