Luxurious New Pink Lipsticks from Lisa Eldridge

Skscraper Rose and Love of My Life, two of the new pink lipsticks from celebrity makeup artist Lisa Eldridge, reviewed by Is This Mutton blog
A few days ago celebrity makeup artist Lisa Eldridge launched her new collection of four new lipsticks in pink shades and they were sold out almost immediately. But not before I got my hands on Love Of My Life and Skyscraper Rose, which came in a limited edition free pouch.
Here I am wearing Skyscraper Rose, which Lisa describes as "an electrically modern fuchsia pink.
So pigmented and so creamy, a truly dreamy texture that glides on seamlessly and gives 100% full coverage with a demi matte finish and weightless feel."

You may remember my post about her first range of lipsticks, the red True Velvets Collection.

I can say quite honestly these are the most luxurious, and deeply saturated, lipsticks I have ever used.

The gold metallic case has a lovely lustre and satisfying heft as you swivel the pull the lid off to reveal the gorgeous bullet of lipstick, embellished with Lisa Eldridge's logo.

The matte colour of Skyscraper Rose (shown below) lasts and lasts and stays true, not creeping over the edges of the mouth or fading. I'm a great believer in older women wearing bright, vibrant lipsticks rather than beige or very pale shades which make us fade away.
The over 50s look fantastic in bright vibrant lipstick shades and the new pinks collection from Lisa Eldridge is perfect. Gail Hanlon wears vibrant and deeply saturated Skyscraper Rose
Love of My Life is a medium true ‘rosy pink’ semi sheer lipstick . Not too blue, not too red, it delivers a modern, sheeny flush of pink to the lips with one swipe or build the colour to create a more radiantly polished look. This is a great daytime look for me.

Lisa Eldridge's lipsticks are 100% cruelty free and 100% vegan.

Watch her Youtube tutorial on the new collection. The lipsticks come back into stock occasionally so it's worth registering on her website for the newsletter.
