I bought the necklace in question for the princely sum of £2.50 from a charity shop in Epping. Now you probably haven't noticed, but the necklace is actually on upside down! Trust me. But it still looks brill.
In the top picture, Miss Molly the cat (aged 15) was sprawling out on the fake grass so I felt compelled to adopt a faux 1950s pose. What fun!
The "old outfit" in question is a Boden skirt and cropped cardigan, probably both around four years old, and a plain white blouse. The necklace has two shades of green going on, so my sandals, about 10 years old, are echoing the second green. (Clever huh?).
I used green eyeshadows from my Huda Emerald Obsessions palette and my signature Guerlain Indian Rose lipstick. I love green and pink together. The bag unclips from a larger tote by VVA (Sarah Haran).
I was thrilled to find the necklace because it's exactly the sort I love, and the right colour for all my green pieces!
What have you bought from a thrift / charity store that made your heart beat faster? Do tell in the comments.
