Lotus Cattleya sandals and Joseph Ribkoff dress

A summer dream team for parties or weddings: Lotus Cattleya sandals in nude with a flattering Joseph Ribkoff dress in lime and leopard print.
I was thrilled to be gifted these gorgeous Cattleya high stiletto heel peep toe sandals from Lotus. Look at the elegant cut out style, which has some diamante that sparkles very invitingly.  And they slip on, with no straps needing to be adjusted. Even better, they're a neutral colour which goes well with anything.

I've teamed the sandals with a Joseph Ribkoff dress - I wrote about how every woman should have one. Ribkoff is a Canadian designer, and the dresses are always very flattering with drapy fabric and elegant designs. I found it on eBay, where I have a permanent search for Ribkoff dresses. It isn't on sale now so I've chosen a couple of other Ribkoff dresses in the shopping guide below.

The dress is a bit low cut on its own so I wore a lime green top from Kettlewell underneath, and added a cream bolero top, also from Kettlewell.

This shows the sandals close-up - aren't they pretty! I like a pale pearly nail polish for toes and this is my favourite, Happy Anniversary by OPI.

I took advantage of the gorgeous weather but it also presents its own challenges with glare, shadows, too bright light --- hence the indoor shots!

    1. Thanks Nancy! Often these dresses look quite ordinary on the rail or page but they look wonderful when you wear them.

    1. They have a higher heel than I'm used to but they are very comfortable - I can see myself wearing them all day at a wedding x

  4. Oh, my goodness, this is a dress after my own heart. Flirty, swishy and GREEN! Mixed with animal print. You look absolutely sensational in it. And those nude sandals elongate your lovely legs so that you look like a Radio City Music Hall Rockette! Wow! This has to be one of my favorite all-time looks of yours.

One question, I need shoes/sandals for my daughter's wedding. We have a dinner the night before to which I will wear a blue and green maxi dress. And then my 'wedding' dress is navy lace. Would a nude sandal like these work with those dresses? I am always so matchy matchy that I could only envision blue shoes. But your legs look so sassy and shapely and elegant in these sandals. Would something like them work for my dresses?

  8. Love how the backdrop really gives way to the dress being the centerpiece of this shoot! You look absolutely beautiful and the green makes your eyes sparkle! You really wear the clothes; they don't wear you at all. What lovely confidence you have.

  9. What fabulous shots those indoor ones are Gail - you look amazing! The dress really has the wow factor and I'd certainly wear it in a heartbeat too. And the sandals are perfect for the summer ahead - that neutral shade is ideal.

    Have a great week!
