On Trend Summer Jewelry

 & WowOnWednesday

Gail Hanlon from Is This Mutton with lightweight gold color fashion jewelry from Meideya

Dear friends. Jewelry (jewellery in the UK) is one of my greatest pleasures. It's the fastest way to update a look and needn't cost a fortune.

I was thrilled when Meideya Jewelry approached me. I discovered their fashionable range looks far more expensive than it actually is.

I love jewelry which is gold toned as it suits my warm toned skin better, and I love dainty pieces. This is what I chose: Gold Tassel Chain Bracelet, $43, Lyra Sun Necklace $49, Charity Medium Hoop Earrings $39.

The necklace in particular makes me think of sun drenched days on holiday.  I used to buy lovely pieces on holiday but unfortunately a beautiful charm bracelet, and some Grecian earrings, were stolen from my suitcase at Gatwick one year.  So now I always buy fashion jewellery to take with me. What I chose from Meideya will be perfect for our visit to Greece in a few weeks' time. Hoop earrings are extremely on trend right now and these feel substantial, like gold earrings.

Meideya started around 3 years ago and is run by three women who were inspired to start the business through a love for fashion. "We love everything that is beautiful and stylish. And jewelry with different styles is a method and a way to express ourselves," explained Rita.

The brand is targeted at people who love gold jewelry. they care about themselves; they want to be unique and they want to catch the trends.

The company is a global business: 50% of customers are from the US and the others are from Europe, Canada, Australia and so on.

Sharing some fashion jewelry which will be on its way to Greece with her this summer, Is This Mutton's Gail Hanlon.

I'm wearing my new soft yellow Chloe jacket from Kettlewell with their watermelon v-neck and electric blue belt. Jeggings from M&S. Finally a bit of spring weather has arrived, although it's not looking as if it will stay around for too long. We must make hay while the sun shines!

What do you like to take on holiday with you - your usual jewelry or one or two new pieces? Do let us know in the comments.

  2. I never heard of this brand, but I love the earrings and how minimal the style is while still be very stylish. Goes great with any outfit even a pop of colour.
