Styling Long Cardigans - and Link Up

I often wonder how I lived without long cardigans.  I got my first one about two years ago and wear it all the time.  They can be styled many different ways and are perfect for working and lounging at home.

This long lilac cardigan caught my eye when I saw it on IG because I'm always on the lookout for lilac. I've styled it with a plain ivory silk blouse and jeans. The necklace and lilac brogues add a bit of pizzazz. 

Outside the window the forsythia hedge is giving an autumnal blast of yellow before it loses its leaves. In the spring its flowers will bloom acid yellow bright.

The long cardigan which started my passion for them is this grey number from Asos. It looks more chic with a belt; I normally wear it without. 

I'm wearing with a cerise slogan tee, silver boots and Spanx faux leather leggings.
