Dear friends. A busy month to share. October included a big birthday for Mr Mutton, a school reunion in Plymouth and seeing the group ABC with an orchestra in Bournemouth. I also started using a personal trainer again, gave blood and did a one day First Aid course.

Dear friends. A mixed hors d'oeuvres today. I'm sharing which outfit I wore to the school reunion, a recent cord dress acquisition, a perfume search and more.
First up is a soft corduroy dress. It's exactly the type of dress I look for in winter: not too long and with a gathered waist that helps create definition where none exists. Plus corduroy is On Trend, not that most of us care too much about that.

Dear friends. An exciting month for me as I was nominated for UK Book Blogger of the Year. I must add however that it was a LONG long list and I didn't make the short list. I didn't expect to, because although I review books extensively on NetGalley, I'm not a dedicated book blogger.
I simply read books and share my thoughts with you because I know most of you are avid readers.
