One jumper, three ways

Image showing a striking Rew scarf, the neckwear fastened with one button, in green
I was attracted to this Hobbs Sofia jumper by its green and navy colours, and the fact it can be worn quite casually or dressed up a bit.
I'm wearing it above with a new Rew. I've written about my love for Rew neckwear before, here. They're statement "scarves" but fastened with a button, so no need to struggle to tie them. My new Rew is a cosy fleecy material so will be great for the winter months. I've added blue jeans and ankle boots.

I don't normally wear "big" jumpers loose.  If you have big shoulders, an hourglass shape and chunky legs like me, it creates a boxy shape which makes you look huge. I prefer the tucked-in look (below), or even better, a belted silhouette, although I find it doesn't work with jeans - they're too bulky. My tucked-in look was for an evening out. I mixed textures: faux fur (bomber jacket), wool (the jumper), metallic (socks) and velvet (shoes).

My third look features a belt. This is a smarter look, and adding a faux fur trimmed bomber jacket makes it good to go for evening drinks, theatre or dinner. I bought the necklace some time ago on Etsy and I wear it all the time - it goes perfectly with my (many!) green jumpers. I teamed the jumper with my blue asymmetric skirt and block heeled shoes.

  5. Sounds like you and I have the exact same body shape Gail so I understand your issues with big/loose sweaters. Having said that, I like all of your stylings here, most of all I love the belted version. And oh, how I adore that bomber jacket - it's beautiful!

It looks so great on you I decided to buy one for myself :) Never heard of this line before but I'll look forward to receiving it and attempting to style it as well as you did.
