Style Not Age Challenge: Flower Power

Over 50s style blogger Gail Hanlon in faux fur trimmed floral bomber jacket and jeans for the Style Not Age challenge Flower Power
I'm thrilled to be back in a style challenge and joining the fabulous women of Style Not Age each month.

This month's challenge was chosen by Hilda and it's Flower Power. I find these challenges fascinating
to see everyone's different take on the theme!
I'm wearing my floral brocade bomber jacket with its cute faux fur collar. I was at a loss to know what to wear under it. A t-shirt, I thought, would be dull. Ideally I wanted something else floral. I remembered a Phase Eight top which has virtually the same print. I added my Hush raw hem jeans and green snakeskin boots.

The clematis behind me is a Montana  (three different ones) and will soon be covered in buds - it's magical to watch.

Let's see how the others tackled Flower Power.
Hilda from Over The Hilda in floral dress from Zara
Hilda from Over The Hilda is rocking a wearing a favourite Zara dress, with a faux-fur waistcoat and M&S boots from autumn 2019.  Her bag was bought in the sale at Parfois.
A pink and black floral print dress worn by Emma Peach from Stylesplash
I'm loving the pink faux fur that Emma from Stylesplash is wearing - it goes beautifully with the floral print on her Nine Savannah Miller dress from Debenhams.  Her bag from Asos, I bought on eBay, and the scarf is by Skinny Dip.
Blue print dress and pale pink accessories worn by Jacqui Berry from Mummabstylish
Jacqui has a gorgeous print in her dress from good old Florence and Fred. Loving rthe pale pink accessories with her Primark boots and daughter's bag from M & S. I always forget how good a denim jacket looks with a dress. More pics over at Mummabstylish.
A 60s look for Flower Power with Zara dress blue tights and white ankle boots
Anna's cool outfit has a bit of a 60s vibe.  Her dress is from Zara (pre-loved) and boots are from New Look. More pics at Anna's Island Style.

Hope our florals have inspired you! I've chosen a few that caught my eye in the shopping guide below. These are from the high-end designers but you'll see very similar designs in the high street I make a couple of pence if you click through - it won't be funding my retirement any time soon!

I'm back on Wednesday with the #WowOnWednesday link up.
