& #TuesdayTwirl
Dear friends. We've gone from 18 degrees to 7 in just a few days. It's finally coat weather!
I've added a new colour to my coat collection: a pink coral wool coat from Boden which I bought for £37 on ebay.
It's a lovely soft coat and I look forward to wearing it. This colour, a warm pink, is as difficult to find as hen's teeth. But if you persevere, you'll find the colours you seek.
If you want brown, black, navy or camel, the classic neutrals for coats, you're of course spoilt for choice.
I haven't yet had had chance to wear jumpers (sweaters) this season. My sweater is the Connie from Kettlewell in Coral. I'm wearing it with "velvet" brown trousers, old (Robell), gold boots, old, and one of the Spring blooms necklaces from My Season Jewellery.
Life has been tough lately. In addition to back-to-back viruses, I'm finding delayed grief from the death of my mum very hard. This week we are going to Plymouth to scatter her ashes.
Mum loved bright colours and hated black at funerals, so for the simple scattering ritual I'll make sure I'm wearing one of her favourite colours.
See the rest of my colourful coats.
Are you looking forward to wearing coats? Or, in the southern hemisphere, casting off your coats and jackets? Do tell in the comments.
